Tips to build a home Aquarium

People, who want to decorate their house or dwelling place with an aquarium, can now build it themselves. Building an aquarium saves money and is much inexpensive than a pre-built aquarium.
Just follow the below listed Instructions:
1) Measure the size of the glass sheets you want and mark lines with a wax pencil or a grease. Use a straight tool such as a scale or a ruler to make lines exactly perpendicular to each other. It is important to keep the glass at right angles while cutting, to make the aquarium structurally sound. This will also prevent the aquarium from leaking.
2) Use a glasscutter tool, which will help you to cut the glass in a straight manner. Wear gloves and snap off the glass along the marked straight lines. This will help you to maintain a straight edge, which is an essential part of your aquarium.
3) Apply a sealer to the tank at the top edges of the glass. This piece of glass can serve as a base for your aquarium. Keep the perpendicular side glass on top and press them gently over the seal. Place a heavy material next to the tank assembly. This will hold up the piece of glass until the silicone cures itself.
4) Apply tape to the upper edges of the glass sheet. Repeat the same with the base piece of glass. Again place a heavy material until the sealer dries. It is always advisable to use a T-square or right angle tool to make the corners of the glass sheet.
5) Repeat the silicone sealer application on the other two remaining walls. Place the glass meticulously on the sealer in such a way so that it supports all the sides until the sealer dries. To do this, you will have to place something heavy both on the outside and inside of the tank.
6) Remove the excessive amount of sealer, which is rough. Remove it from both inside and outside of the aquarium with a sharp instrument. Then apply more amount of sealer on both side and at each joint of the aquarium. Join and smoothen it with your fingers or a piece of cardboard or plastic. This is the final sealing and hence, should be smooth with out any gaps or bubbles.
Finally, use pumps, aquarium filters and other suitable equipments that help to maintain your aquarium and its inhabitants.
